About 30 years ago, Jim and Marilyn started their business at Sunnyside and Downsview malls. They later operated the Singer Franchise in the MicMac Mall and most recently spent 15 years at the Singer Franchise at Bayers Road Shopping Centre. We Repair all makes and Models of Sewing machines and Sergers
Marlene's Sewing Bee offers a factory trained repair centre, repairing all makes of sewing machines and sergers. They sharpen scissors and pinking shears. They offer serger and sewing machine courses. Free sewing courses - that's right! - free sewing courses - a series of free mini courses designed to stimulate new sewers, and for those who have not sewn in a while, the desire to start up again and have some fun. Juvenile courses are offered on Saturday mornings. If you have a budding sewer aged 7 to 16, contact Marlene's Sewing Bee as they can help.
